Twice A Stranger aims to shed a light on the ongoing global phenomena of mass immigration.

Twice A Stranger aims to recognize, celebrate and affirm different cultural identities and values within our society in order to promote co-existence between equal individuals.

The name Twice A Stranger is from a poem written by Professor Ayşe Lahur Kırtunç. Below is the Turkish version of this poem

İki Kere Yabancı

Geç kaldık anıları kaybetmeye
o ilk malzeme yitti gitti
ilk mübadiller götürdüler anılarını
oysa onlar hemen kaydedilmeliydi
iki yerde de yabancı olmak.
